  I started going to this church almost 7 years ago and I honestly didn't expect much, I didn't plan on ever joining a church. Anyways fast forward 5 years and I became a member. Joining this church didn't just give me a church home but instead gave me a home and so much more. It gave me a family and let me tell you the people that go here would do anything for you. If you haven't checked it out you definitely should. It's honestly like coming home.

  I must say this Church is the definition of Love. You see it in everyone -both young and old. As a foreigner, the warmness I receive always amazes me. The Shepards are phenomenal in bringing bible based truths to us with a special swagger and the music is out of this world. What more can you ask for? Glad I found this church

  Kristin, You should read the entire passage in 1 Timothy. What I got from it is that Back then the people would have meetings ( not related to church) in the churches/ synagogues. There was a meeting called to order and the women were talking amongst themselves as the meeting was called to order. They were asked to be quiet because the men were trying to have their meeting. When the word "man" is used in the bible it refers to humans in general. Not just male humans. We are referred to as "man" as a whole. There are many women of authority in the Bible. Deborah the Judge being one Mary Magdalene and many more. God also used a rooster and a donkey in the bible. He can and will and does still today use women to spread his word. The bible says whom He calls He qualifies. We must always rightly divide the Word of God. And read it with a spiritual mind. The bible wasn't made for carnal minds to understand. God bless.
